Terms of Service
Effective Date: April 2, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or “Customer”) and AnyCloud IT LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operating as BobSentry, governing your use of the BobSentry website at bobsentry.com and the BobSentry cloud security scanning platform (collectively, the “Service”).
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
BobSentry is a cloud security posture management (CSPM) platform that connects to your Amazon Web Services (AWS) account using a read-only IAM role to scan your cloud configuration. The Service identifies security risks, maps findings to compliance frameworks (such as CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark), and provides remediation guidance.
The Service is provided on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) basis. BobSentry does not modify, create, or delete any resources in your AWS account. All access is read-only.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Each account is associated with a single organization. You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Plans, Billing, and Payment
Trial Period
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with access to core features. During the trial, you can connect AWS accounts, run scans, and view findings. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service.
Paid Plans
We offer Starter and Growth subscription plans with different feature sets and usage limits. Current pricing and plan details are available on our Pricing page.
Billing
All payments are processed through Stripe. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle.
Auto-Renewal and Cancellation
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us. Upon cancellation, you retain access to the Service until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds
Payments are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at support@bobsentry.com.
5. AWS Account Access
To use the scanning features of the Service, you must create a read-only IAM role in your AWS account and provide the role ARN and external ID to BobSentry.
- BobSentry uses AWS Security Token Service (STS) to assume the IAM role with temporary credentials that expire after each scan.
- BobSentry only requests read-only permissions (Describe, List, and Get actions) and does not modify, create, or delete any AWS resources.
- You can revoke BobSentry's access at any time by deleting or modifying the IAM role in your AWS account.
- You are solely responsible for the configuration and security of your AWS account. BobSentry is not liable for any AWS costs incurred as a result of using the Service.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems.
- Use the Service to scan AWS accounts that you do not own or have authorization to scan.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our prior written consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these restrictions.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, source code, algorithms, documentation, and branding, is owned by AnyCloud IT LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose during your subscription period.
You retain all ownership rights to your AWS data and configurations. BobSentry does not claim any intellectual property rights over your data.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Without limiting the foregoing:
- Scan results and findings are informational and do not constitute a guarantee of security or compliance.
- The Service is not a substitute for a professional security audit, penetration test, or compliance certification.
- We do not guarantee that the Service will detect all security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, or compliance gaps in your AWS environment.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ANYCLOUD IT LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AnyCloud IT LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of a third party; or (d) your AWS account configuration or data.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may terminate by canceling your subscription and deleting your account through the dashboard settings.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your data will be retained for 30 days (the grace period) to allow for account restoration. After the grace period, all associated data will be permanently deleted.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within thirty (30) days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in the State of Delaware.
You agree that any arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will provide at least thirty (30) days' notice by email or by posting a notice on the Service before the updated Terms take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AnyCloud IT LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, representations, and warranties.
